This page describes how 12andUs uses the TikTok API. It is here so that anyone — members, visitors, and TikTok itself — can see exactly what our integration does, what it posts, and what data is and is not involved.

12andUs is an astrology platform. Members enter their birth data and receive personalised astrological charts, reports and forecasts, and can connect with other members based on astrological compatibility. A fuller description is on our mission page.
Every day we generate short horoscope videos — one per zodiac sign, based on the astrological transits for that day. These are produced entirely by us, from our own astrological calculations, our own artwork and our own narration. We already publish them to our own channels on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.
Our TikTok integration extends that same daily pipeline to TikTok, using the Content Posting API to publish those videos to our own TikTok brand account. Publishing begins once the integration is approved for production.

This is the short version: no member data of any kind is sent to TikTok.
The videos themselves contain general astrological content for a zodiac sign and a date. They are not personalised to any individual and contain no member information.

Our use of the TikTok API is subject to the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and the TikTok Content Sharing Guidelines, and to our own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
